CPanel stops NeoMail Support [IMPORTANT]Dear Customer, Please be aware that CPanel have stopped supporting the 3rd party webmail system NeoMail, because of this Neomail is becoming unstable and no upgrades/patches will be offered by cPanel. As such, we will be upgrading the email system and removing NeoMail from our servers to ensure server performance integrity.
We will continue to run the Horde and Squirrelmail webmail systems. This upgrade will also change the email format to improve email performance and maintain message integrity, however, these changes will have the following affect: 1) Neomail will no longer be supported and will be removed from the CPanel Interface 2) In Squirrel Mail, the folders will need to be re-subscribed. IMPORTANT: We recommend you backup stored emails in both squirrelmail and NeoMail and also any contact lists you may have had as these are most likely to be inrecoverable after the upgrade takes place.
This upgrade will be carried out on Sunday 22nd July 2007 at 1.00am. Downtime will be minimal, but during this time, any emails sent to your domain will be bounced back to the sender. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
